At Gamescom 2024, Nvidia announced that its suite of G-Sync technologies will no longer need a dedicated module, which contributed to increased monitor costs. Nvidia and MediaTek are collaborating to bring G-Sync Ultimate including the new Pulsar tech to MediaTek scalers found in most displays. This can potentially bring down costs for G-Sync adoption and allow lot more monitors to utilize the entire G-Sync stack.
