how can I open the second cam
their is no rotate bottom 

I don't even know how people use this without waking up their sleeping family. takes 2 hours to load the google home page. noise can be heard by the next-door neighbours. The touchpad doesn't work. can't even run google docs and Microsoft word. even the keyboard doesn't work that well. storage space says 100 GB maximum but even if you didn't download anything it says that there's only 2 MB left. why does this 1950s computer even exist?

I have owned this laptop since August 2014 and it has been my constant companion every single day since then!  Are used it daily at the office for hours and then at home for hours and of course charging it once a day. I watch movies I've done my work and it has always been reliable. I had a three-year warranty which was up August 2017 and I didn't know until October 24 when it totally died on me!  It will not take a charge at all and there's no life to it. I'm getting online and hopes to find out what I can do, Hewlett-Packard will start me at $39 to use their help but I'm trying to do research first.   This article was amazing. Am I correct in reading that there is a  battery in the keyboard section of the laptop? And should I try to unscrew the bottom myself and find the battery? Is anyone able to help answer thiese questions? [email protected]

I've had one of these for 6 months and want to share my experience for your consideration:
Whilst this computer does perform better than a budget model of half the price (I paid £600) with regard to speed and the touchscreen is beneficial, it does not outperform other models at this price level.  I have found the battery to be relatively poor which is a problem for a portable laptop/tablet where you may well work away from power sources all day. 

On the plus side, connectivity has been easy and the SSD seems to perform well.  Other negatives are the build quality which is rather mixed (the top corners of the tablet/screen section creak when pressed which is a little alarming) and when put into sleep mode the battery continues to discharge and is flat within a few hours (I have to shut down each time I move on, but reboot is pretty quick, so "ah well").  Customer service on this last issue has been from foreign call centres which has been patchy at best.  A 12.5" HD screen means you will need very good eyesight to read text and need to take "eye-breaks" if working on lengthy documents.

In short - I wouldn't buy this again and will probably avoid HP in the future from a customer service perspective.

Can you guys do a quick SD card reader speed test for HP Pro X2 612? I am interested because it has both: a full SD slot as well as a microSD.

Also what about the camera quality? I found a lot of noise in the images I took but I want to know how the cameras compare to other 2-in-1 detachables? I think HP Pro X2 612 offers an amazing value for the connectivity and features it packs in. Even though the CPU is 4th generation and not 6th gen Skylake it still is an excellent value for non-gaming use.

Also the article mentions the SSD can be replaced? I didn't notice any screws anywhere?

Did you guys test the display brightness after turning off Adaptive Display in Windows Power options?
