I presume your laptop is too old if you can't use it on battery in a sofa. But still you can get one of those USB-C magnetic cables that just fall off if you pull it.

And? Replace the battery, they are serviceable.

Personally, I would save money and buy the IdeaPad 3 Slim 16" with 7530U for a simple reason - at least it has a power supply with a round angled plug, which allows 100% of the time to use the laptop comfortably for right-handed people on beds and sofas in a reclining position - for a simple reason - you will never break the power plug with your feet, which are on the left for right-handed people. And the Slim5 with USB-C power supply will be broken within a month or you will have to use it on beds and sofas from the battery (and why do you need a laptop at the table all the time, right? Then buy a 100% silent desktop with a large monitor and a full keyboard), and the battery here will die within 1.5-2 years with daily use.

A laptop with a crappy screen 45% NTSC and fhd. It costs exactly what it costs, no "super" offers.

Now it's easy to buy a much better model for $650-700, with a completely different screen quality @ 2.5k and 100% sRGB.

With such a crappy screen, the laptop is only good for working in Excel and Word, but it's not even suitable for surfing - the color rendering is simply disgusting.

Very good price and with a full numeric keypad, not what they are doing now where the numeric keypad is being cut.
I hope these prices reach Europe, they would be sold out in stores, and this processor has artificial intelligence and USB 4 + iGPU RDNA 3

It also features a microSD card reader and a 1080p webcam. However, port selection does not feature any high-speed ports, the RAM is soldered and the display is not that great.
