The "L3 system" the media has endlessly publicized for them is only available in CA and NV in the US, is never equipped on any of the cars actually in the showroom, and is only available as an expensive option, with an expensive subscription, on the enormously expensive S class.

And then if you do live in CA, and can afford an S class with this option, and don't mind a subscription for life, and can actually find one, you get to enjoy a ten page list of restrictions.  Only works on certain highways, only up to 40MPH, on and on.

I get the media loves an anti-Tesla narrative since confirmation bias sells, but the hype job you're doing for Benz given the truly lackluster technology they've actually introduced, is ridiculous

Tesla classes FSD as Level 2 autonomous driving system for regulatory and insurance reasons. Mercedes, however, already got permission to run Level 4 self-driving tests in China.
