$700 to have an Advertising Operating System that has compatibility issues with Games, Software, Drivers, Antivirus/security legacy (and some modern) hardware.  But it benches fairly well for what's left!

These are not real PCs, have meh quality and are massively overpriced.

They are "personal computers" abet with limited functionality (much like the low end options from others).

Sure many devices on the market are vastly overpriced junk however discounts happen all the time.

"$700" !?!?!? Are they kidding?

Given that the 'Chrome' devices can be readily found at $200-500 and 'bottom of the line' Intel/AMD powered WIN devices $400-1000 I'm not quite sure that their TARGET pricing is going to get them much (if any!) market share.

However if they were to drop to SUB-$500 and fit the $200-400 range, a 'gimped' (lack of compatibility) WIN system might make HUGE inroads in the low end of the market.

Bring to market a 8-12" tablet with a magnetic keyboard in the sub-$500 price point and they might have a popular product.

Let's hope for Huawei Matebook E Go successor.

Literally every single idiot asked this before 2020 apple silicon release, why have you felt the desire to double down in 2024.

The cheapest way to get your hands on a Snapdragon X series system is to get the dev kit for $900 or the base 13.8-inch Microsoft Surface Copilot+ PC for $999. However, Qualcomm says that its 2025 offering will be priced much lower, costing as little as $700.
