Apple launched a public beta of Apple Maps on the web, allowing global users to access core mapping features like turn-by-turn directions and local search from their desktops or laptops. The web app also features curated city guides and allows some restaurants to offer direct food ordering. Future updates will include a 3D street-level view and the ability for developers to integrate Apple Maps functionalities into their websites.
