The PC will not have HBM3 memory soldered as VRAM directly into the SoC with a bandwidth of 300GB/s, or better yet 500, any igpu will look pale compared to a dgpu with dedicated memory with a huge bandwidth up to 1TB/s and above.
It's a shame that they can't solder at least 4-6GB of VRAM in the form of HBM3 with a 512-1024 bit data bus directly into the SoC even in 2024...
This processor is what we have been waiting for for 5 years, ideal for MIni PC, ultrabook, Tablet etc... I hope that AMD has enough processors prepared to supply the great demand for these products and what I see in professional computer forums which is the great demand. In addition to AMD's artificial intelligence power with XDNA 2, which has surpassed Intel.
The real "game changer" is the 890M since its performance is expected to matche entry level discrete GPUs. I believe this is a first for integrated GPUs.
This could seriously affect certain large segments of the laptop market such as non-gaming/business laptops.
The first AMD Strix Point laptops have landed in China. These systems are from Asus, and the company has given some details on the RDNA 3.5 AMD Radeon 880M iGPU found in the Ryzen AI 9 365. Compared to the Radeon 780M with RDNA 3 architecture, it is said to deliver 15% better performance in Time Spy.
