Just think how you chase the electrical charge for your phone every day. Worried to be out of power.

Now your ev car will be no different. You will be tied to an electric outlet forever!

Buyer of an ex Hertz model 3 checking in. My car is a 22 rwd and after running a battery test it's showing slightly over 4% degradation at 56k miles. The biggest problem is the way the interior has held up BUT for 19k after the tax incentive and exclusively charging at home for 13c/kWh or around 3c/mi I'm perfectly fine with the worn interior bits.

It was likely helped by the type of battery. The LFP cells age better. Wonder if the car was set up to charge to 80% during it's rental life or it it was in full performance mode.

A YouTuber has tested a used Tesla Model 3 purchased in one of Hertz's fire sales for battery degradation, and the results make a strong case for the used EV market, although there are some negatives to be aware of.
