It's a good start, but it's really overpriced for what it is when you look at gaming laptops with similar specs on the market - they removed the screen and battery, put the innards in a box with more room for better cooling, yet the price is twice as high?

For this price range, and depending on what your needs are (we're not all gamers but some need GPU acceleration all the same), the M2 Max Studio almost makes more sense - save for the stupidly high prices on RAM and storage upgrades Apple charges.
