Google is bringing more quality-of-life improvements to Pixel devices. Likely starting later this year with the stable release of Android 15, currently supported devices like the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro will warn in advance that they could be on the verge of overheating. Adaptive Thermal warnings will also include advice on how to prevent overheating that would otherwise result in a complete device shutdown.
