Seems like Sony made the right call by pushing all their Flagship lines except the midrange line to MiniLED before Samsung & LG did. Could be the decade that Sony pulls back ahead in the big 3. Eventually it will lead to MicroLED tech, OLED seems to be hitting its limitations in brightness to reliability & burn in.

OLED has a challenger as an emerging type of high-tech TV in the form of panels that use mini-LED as a backlight. They confer potential advantages such as color-accuracy and dynamic range, and are as such now tipped to ship up to 1.8 million more units than OLED next year.
