Just looked up the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 (4x A78 2.4 GHz and 4x A55 2.0 GHz) in the database and compared it to Snapdragon 855 (4x A76 2.84 GHz and 4x A55 ?? GHz). Almost exactly identical scores in GB 5.5 and 6.2 for single core and multicore. Only real improvement is graphics by a bit and 5G modem. Hoping power consumption due to 4 nm for the 7s G2 compared to 7 nm for the 855 is substantially reduced leading to longer idle/wi-fi times.
