The real selling point on this thing is that it is POCKET sized! Some may debate that depending on what kind of pants they wear but I've been able to fit it into all my jeans. No other company is making a pocket sized Windows handheld so that puts this in a category all its own.

Very happy with mine overall. Honest cons:
- Can get hot. Never to the point where I had to put it down but still worth noting.
- Odd issue where it wakes from hibernate on its own. Common problem with alot of Windows laptops in general.
- Battery life could be better
- Speakers could be louder.

Again very happy with this, Ayaneo has a competitor but its a bit bigger. Beyond that there is no other pocket size handheld like this.

Grim reality is it's e-waste in 3 months after purchase. Not a laptop, too inconvenient as a handheld, mediocre game performance for money that could give you a normal laptop. There's zero real life sustainable use cases for this.

Why they went with this type of keyboard is beyond me. As is, they could've as well not included a keyboard at all. How is the user supposed to type on that?
The Mini would've been the perfect handheld if they'd gone with a regular laptop keyboard like on the Pocket.

Flash the latest Bios. Unlocked up to 22W. I get 40fps in Hellblade 2. Pretty insane

I agree about the fan noise. A mistake from GPD's part not to use a larger fan. Even half an inch larger would suffice for the whine.
Im very satisfied as a frequent traveler

at approx. USD$1000 what is the (mission) for this mini system now? mixed-use gaming & some productivity? i'm assuming this uses a USB-C to HDMI adapter to display on larger screen when traveling.

Please pay more attention. You can't call it a "winning formula" then give it the lowest score of all. It's inaccurate, misleading and stops people being able to trust you.

The super-small laptop-gaming hybrid can be very compelling at first glance for travelers or students. In practice, however, it doesn't quite excel at gaming as the ROG Ally or at office work as a dedicated traditional laptop.
