Qualcomm könnte mit dem Snapdragon X Elite und X Plus nicht nur im Windows-Umfeld sich wichtige Marktanteile sichern. Auch für Llnux und ChromeOS ist die ARM-Plattform interessant. Für letzteres sollen die Anpassungen fast fertig sein.
