I agree with person in this discussion. OLEDs never last, works bad (thanks PWM) and consumes a lot of power while upsides are barely noticeable. Nobody would notice in everyday life OLED upsides, while burnin will inevitably come after 2-3 years of usage. So yeah, I agree with users, who say not to oleds.
And lack of trackpoint buttons unfortunately makes this just an expensive toy, but not a real thinkpad.

In short, yet another pointless upgrade in the pointless, 1-year-upgrade cycle. Keyboard's been awful since at least 3rd gen, which also killed off sd-card, by shrinking it into the micro-size and making it practically inaccessible behind a flap at the back. And this slot disappeared entirely from next generation (cost-saving hurrah). Obsession to make it ultrathin made them kill off in-housing pen storage, which worked great (yeah, the pen was thinner, but safely stored, and charged, on board), now you'll f... about to find that pen but hey, lonovo is happy to sell you another one! And another, and then another. Run-times for 2024 are simply poor. Docking port appears sporadically on every 2nd gen, this time, gone (another cost-saving success). Port layout is abysmal, as you can only charge via usb-c/ thunderbolt and only on one side, and then, you get the clutter, as the 'old-school' usb port is BEHIND those 2 thunderbolts. Camera lip looks fugly. Fan whine - nothing new here. The upside: 32Gb Ram comes as standard (yeah, for 3.5K it better). Webcam is no longer silly 720dpi. Weight has gone down - a little. But overall - another fail in the 1-year-upgrade-cycle of fail. Frankly, I haven't seen a lenovo laptop to make me WANT it for the last 6 - 8 years. Steady decline.

Constant complaints in forums, reviews etc. have had success in the past and can have success in the future.

Lenovo has dropped the name Yoga from its flagship convertible for business customers, now calling it the ThinkPad X1 2in1. AI marketing aside, its new Meteor Lake processor offers little performance and its high-resolution OLED touchscreen isn't entirely good. Lenovo also offers an optional haptic touchpad without TrackPoint buttons.
