Advertisement poorly placed. As written by others, a USB Switch is *NOT* an KVM Switch.
I wonder what the title "Senior tech writer" is really worth when mixing such basic thing up.

HDMI, Mouse and KB plug in on one side, 4 x USBC on the other go to 4 different systems for KVM. Why not this?  This is KVM switch.

Strange they came out with a usb hub still on 5gbit instead of 10gb 20gbit or 40 Gbit

5gbit is 15 years old, good luck running your 4k cam in conjunction with other devices. Especially since it will not have enough input power...

You are better off with their older usb hubs ...

My thoughts exactly where's the video. Even on Amazon it's listed as kvm. How tragic....

Agreed - writer needs to learn what the 'V' in KVM stands for!

The Anker KVM Switch (For Desktop and Laptop) is now available via Amazon in countries in North America and Europe. The two host devices connect to the accessory via USB-A inputs. These are accompanied by other USB-C and USB-A ports that can be used for file transfers and charging devices.
