If only LG is still around in the smartphone market. I still love seeing their bravery to be out of the norm, especially with the V50/G8X/V50S/V60/Velvet Dual Screen case and Wing 5G. I own both the Wing and the V50 with its Dual Screen case, and they're still turning heads way more than the foldable phones.

Meanwhile Vivo is getting ready to launch their x100 Ultra in May with a nice 100mm 200MP periscope zoom lense, time to catch-up and improve, were getting close to a new level of pro camera and most important versatility in the zoom range.

LG's Innotek divison has won its latest Edison Award for its advanced optical zoom module for smartphones. The company claims that a device with one of these lenses will be able to take images of the highest quality possible at magnification of up to 5x without the usual super-prominent camera hump. The technology may or may not feature in the new iPhones of the coming years.
