Exactly Robert, that's what I'm also always saying. This time I just did the opposite of LL with going full binary 0 or 1 like him, good or bad, like there is no hundreds of possibilities in-between.

Do not judge from you about everybody. For my professional use, a numpad is essential. Hence, there are both use cases!

Numpad is also bad for professional use. Several apps don't use it and it gets to be unnecessary. Red Bull Racing was and is mostly using ThinkPads P1, so 16" no-numpad laptops. Is a multi-billion Formula 1 business and the best F1 team with the best engineers and the best car in the sport - professional enough?

Razer mostly develop pure gaming products, and don't typically target creators or other professional users. I expect this Razer Blade 18 also targets gamers only, hence the limited keyboard (not just no numpad, but there are plenty of other keys missing, and the cursor keys are small).

Also despite the full power 4090 the performance is one of the worst at least in Blender Optix test.

Noise test should include a  specific "Listening to Music" section to check if anyone can listem to music from a laptop without noise...
It is unfortunate there appears no silent operation possible for this.

I prefer laptops without numpad. I never use it and it would offset the keyboard to the left forcing me to hold hands not on the center laptop, but to the left.

Such a large laptop without a numeric keypad seems to me to be a waste of money and a shame on the part of the manufacturer, when currently what predominates are ultrabooks weighing less than 2.2 pounds whose mobility allows you to get more performance out of it, as is the case with MINISFORUM, which is It is becoming the best-selling product of 2024

Razer has upped the ante even further this year with 300 Hz 2K mini-LED and 200 Hz 4K IPS display options on top of the already impressive 175 W GeForce RTX 4090 GPU. The HDR1000 mini-LED panel in particular makes the Blade 18 a multimedia behemoth when it comes to gaming and video playback.
