Unless we are talking about a very small (and inexpensive) team, development costs like that are going to be hard to recover from.
Is anyone else seeing the possibilities of AI doing much of the "grunt work" in game development and taking (hopefully VERY LARGE!) chunks of time out of the development cycles?
