Lest nochmal auf dem Reddit Channel (z.B mit der Android RedReader App die eine bessere Accessibility hat, größere Text/Font Sizes, keine Ads) von anderen Benutzern  nach!

Die Firma Xiaomi vertreibt weder über deren offizielle mi.com Webseite noch über deren App und Europa (aus den Niederlanden) irgendwelche Laptops wie hier in den News und Test Artikel als  Produkt stark angepriesen.
Das ist nur im China Markt so, wie mir auch der Support letztes Jahr telefonisch bestätigt hatte. Siehe aufgeführten China Reseller.

Die kennen eigentlich diese Webseite gar nicht, ist also nichts offizielles!!!

Viel Spaß bei Chinaware bei Garantiefällen und Gewährleistung wenn es nicht ein D-Händler oder Xiaomi direkt ist!!

Für Zubehör und Smartphones klappt das mit der Direktbestellung aus den NL im mi.com Online Store zumindest ganz gut, auch bei mir.

Again, stupid non-standard resolution, not compatible at the pixel level with either 4k or fhd resolution - there will always be a slightly fuzzy picture of content made under 4k/fhd. Why not 4k 16:10, where ppi is greater than the minimum, critical 220-230? It's sad and stupid.

The screen panel is not known to panelook, but according to the author, it is completely fake in terms of response speed - a monstrous 39ms on G2G and 14ms on B2W, adding them together and dividing by 2 we get an average of 37.7 fps per second. There can be no talk of any ô165Hzö here - pure fraud from the manufacturer with a frame rate nameplate. It apparently cannot even render 60fps video stably and smoothly in 100% of cases.

The author himself pointed out that lazy Xiaomi developers simply cheated their future buyers (not very smart) without even making a driver-converter for the native panel space for sRGB, which is assumed by default in Windows and in most software, which, moreover, rarely knows how to work properly with Windows color profiles. By the way, Windows itself, all versions, cannot work with its own profiles in all possible output APIs. Absurd? But these are facts.

Thus, the unfortunate (if they are not colorblind) owners of this Xiaomi product will be forced to constantly look at the oversaturated and extremely poisonous colors of the screen, without hardware calibration, which, as I wrote above, still does not work in 100% of APIs due to the fault of M$.

If there was a processor from AMD, in adrenaline it would be possible to turn on the auto-calibrator, even if it is rougher than hardware calibration, because... relies on the factory EDID profile, but with one setting it brings all colors into the sRGB space (RGB32), which immediately improves the visual perception by an order of magnitude, for the unfortunate owners of laptops with wide gamut panels. But here is rotten Intel, which has not had an autocalibrator in its video driver for more than 15 years, just like Nvidia. To their shame.

Processor - I do not believe in the indicated performance with PL1=45W, because... it clearly does not correlate with the results of other surveys. Expect performance much lower than in this review.

Well, as usual, the idiotic bias for a MacBook reduces the sales of Xiaomi laptops by an order of magnitude, without a normal keyboard with a full-fledged classic numpad. It's impossible to work on something like this. What else is it used for, such a laptop at home or in the office? Who is its target audience? I do not understand.

There is no RedmiBook Pro 16 2024 on the quoted homepage.

Just a couple of infos regarding purchase of Xiaomi RedmiBook Pro 16 2024:

- What has completely slowed my interest on product was return policy. They state at shipping, returns and more section, at above link: " Regarding laptops and tablets, because each and every one of them require customization (adaptation) for system and keyboard to work 100% in the selected language, we can not offer refund as the product is no longer in the original state, except that the equipment has errors, in which case it will be repaired, and if it is not possible, another new equipment will be delivered, but the amount of the purchase will not be refunded.".

So, in any case, they will do a refund. They disregard completely EU policy of free return inside 14 days after purchase, if for any reason you aren't satisfied with notebook. Not tolerable in Europe.

Etwas deprimierend, dass man in den Businesslaptops auch für den 2x oder 3x Preis kein so gutes Panel bekommt wie bei Xiaomi. Ein richtiges gutes Gerät mit einer runden Ausstattung, jetzt müsste es nur noch offiziell nach Europa kommen.

Wie Mr Majestyk im englischen Forum hingewiesen hat, ist das Displays nach Typo-Korrektur 3072 x 1920 = 16:10, also nicht 16:9! Damit finde ich die Hardware alles in allem richtig gut und die Preisklasse ist angemessen, wobei erste Rabatte eintrudeln. Aber Xiaomi ist bei mir wegen Malwarevorfällen verbrannt und bei Chinaware rechne ich zudem mit Staatstrojanern, welche erst später aufgefunden werden würden. Tja, Qi Jiping, Ihre Politik hat Konsequenzen!

Die Arc Graphics im RedmiBook mit dem Core Ultra 7 zieht bei voller GPU-Last 29 Watt.

Interessantes Notebook, guter Preis, leider nur als Grauimport erhältlich.

Eine allgemeine Frage zu den Intel Arc 8-Cores iGPU in den i7 und i9 Ultra Meteor Lakes: wie viel Strom kann bzw darf die iGPU in einem (wie hier) gut gekühlten SoC mit hoch gesetztem PL bei Volllast (GPU Stress Test) denn maximal ziehen? Habt Ihr da Werte oder Schätzungen? Gerade bei APU Situationen wie hier ist's ja oft schwer, das mal eben schnell selbst zu bestimmen. Danke!

Der MiniPC UM780XTX hat 7840HS und 64 GByte Ram 5600MHz und die Radeon 780M (16 GByte) bei mir zuhause.
Diese RedmiBook Pro 16  Ultra7 und 32 GByte Ram 5x +++  und die Intel Arc 8, pos.242 vs. pos.225.

Weitere Updates für die Grafikkarte sollen kommen und noch mehr Verbesserungen bringen, super super gut.

So wie es aussieht, ist das von der Leistung ein fast identischer Laptop zum miniPC.

Tastatur in English, auch in Ordnung. Vielleicht sogar in manchen Situationen ein Vorteil bei der englischsprachigen Korrespondenz.

Ich habe sofort Kontakt aufgenommen zum M.2 2242 PCI 4.0 führenden Hersteller/ Distributor, Amazon bietet da nur die 512 GByte Variante für 79 Euro an. Mir wären 2 x 1 TByte oder 1 + 2 TByte lieber, 7000 MB/sec lesen 6000 MB/sec schreiben ... die 1 TByte Version sei für 129 Dollar zu bekommen, leider nicht für Deutschland bei einem OnlineShop. Vielleicht mal Amazon US besuchen.

Ach, und natürlich habe ich dem Notebookcheck-Test folgend eine Bestellung gemacht.

Weil unklar ist, ob die 14 Zoll Variante ebenfalls 2 PCIe 4.0 Steckplätze hat und ob die Kühlung genauso gut ist oder der Akku genausolange hält ... wurde es eben die 16 Zoll Variante. Ist für mich kein Nachteil.
