I'm no real fan of Ubisoft, but if this game was always marketed as 'Online only' AND the Servers have shut down then why does it matter if the game has been removed from people's accounts when it no longer functions - and why do they think they can pursue legal action against Ubisoft?
One very popular racing game from Ubisoft, The Crew, got its servers shut down on April 1. As it's an online-only title, the fact that the servers went offline means that it's unplayable right now. However, it seems the company has gone further and started removing licenses from the players' accounts.
