Ok, I can buy that.

Back in the days when visual media was FILM the photographer might of only been able to change color/contrast/focus to help 'highlight' and lead the viewers eyes to elements in the image they wanted to attract the viewer to.

Then in the 'digital age' ALL elements in an image could be added/removed on the whims of the 'artist'. Strict rules for 'contests' were created that define how much (if any) 'enhancement' you could do.

Now with the help of AI the parties can add/remove (at will) whatever they wish to push the agenda they want.

Have AI 'enhanced' video as evidence at a trial?

Think again.

Well, in general, when such monster judges sit in court:

It's still much worse...
And such "judges" are not even severely punished and are not immediately expelled from the judicial system.

A terrible time is coming when no video evidence can be accepted as evidence in court. At this point, this has almost happened with audio recordings.

And DNA tests require extremely careful verification of the integrity of those who do them.

The judicial system across the planet is collapsing at the judicial level...

A Washington state judge has rejected an AI-enhanced video submitted during a triple murder case due to two key issues. The enhanced video differs in details versus the original, and there is no way to prove it is an accurate representation of the real scene.
