Thanks for pointing that out. Tesla's site doesn't archive, and the references I checked said 20-inch before 2024. I've updated the article to correct. Wonder what caused the range drop, then. Fortunately not too significant.

Incorrect, they dont have anything but the 21 inch available on the Y performance, you are confusinf the 3 Performance. Y PERFORMANCE  hasn't had small rimnoption since 2020.

It appears as though Tesla has once more cut the range estimate for the Model Y Performance AWD after it updated the electric SUV for 2024. The 2024 variant has now lost over 25 miles of range compared to its 2022 counterpart.
