Nice seeing this in a lower end model.

Value notwithstanding, one still ought to be specific about the PenTile nature of this panel. Please call this "2340 (RG/BG) x 1080" and not just "2340 x 1080"! Forwarding the unqualified pixel dimensions from the manufacturer places these panels in false spec-equivalence with RGB-matrix counterparts, and continues to undermine any incentive there might be to improve the market situation. After all, is the purpose of these reviews not to shed light on reality through what the sellers might have us hear?

Good matrix photo orientation in any case. Please do continue to align the devices squarely with the microscope orientation. It matters!

Samsung now also uses a bright AMOLED screen in its entry-level phone of the Galaxy A series and includes much faster storage and a wide-angle camera. Will this dispense with the need for a more expensive smartphone? We find out in our test.
