Wished it comes with 1080p/1200p LCD instead, and it'll be my choice.

Great review, as always.

The TGP is quite disappointing to be honest. Particularly when knowing that other laptops also using a 140W USB-C charger can fit and sustain a 80W TGP, even without vapor chamber (ex: Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i 14 gen 8).

Still this HP is a decent alternative, particularly considering the current prices of Razer Blade and Zephyrus G14 (2024) in the Europe region.

Seems fine, but as you alluded to I wish they wouldn't laminate the panel to one of those fragile and repair-inhibiting edge-to-edge glass layers if they won't at least offer touch functionality to make up for it.

+1 for covering that!

The list of 14-inch gaming laptops is growing now with the addition of the HP Omen Transcend 14. It may not be as well-known as the popular Razer Blade 14 or Asus Zephyrus G14, but it has enough tricks up its sleeve to be a worthy contender.
