Quite a few people on the emu discord servers seem to be having weird graphics artifacts and various issues on the SD7+G2 with Adreno 725. Not sure if Qualcomm just half assed the driver support since it was used in 1 device or blame goes to Xiaomi, but any interest I had in these types of SoC's which are barely used anywhere just evaporated for me. Seems you're better off sticking to the popular ones (e.g. SD8Gx's), where they are tested far more by every vendor for bugs and as a result are more stable.
The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 is expected to make its debut in the coming months. Details of the chipset have now been outed in a new leak, revealing core configuration info for the SoC which is touted to power one of the Poco F6 series devices.
