So glad Acer put 32GB on the Edge 16, last year's model was perfect except 16 GB soldered ram. That was a deal breaker for many disappointed people and it showed in the pathetic reviews and the hefty price drop just 2 weeks after the release date. I believe this particular 8000 series apu is a Hawk Point. Hope Acer refreshes the Edge 16 with a Strix Point apu when they get released. That laptop would easily last 6+ years.
Acer is upgrading two of its most interesting ultra-light notebooks to Ryzen 8000. The Swift Edge 16 packs a Ryzen 7 8840U and a 16-inch 120 Hz OLED display into a 1.23-kilogram chassis, while the Swift Go 14 offers even more performance thanks to a Ryzen 9 8940HS in a more compact chassis.
