Sneaky Philips. Selling spyware/user data. Such a cheap move.

In the press release they at least publicly state as much, that they are choosing this OS because it allows more and easier ad management.

Five new Philips Ambilight TVs in the brand's 2024 range have appeared in product listings. There are many similarities between the 4K TVs with a direct LED backlight and the recently released Titan OS. The differences come in the stand design and the power consumed in networked standby mode.
