According to dxomark: "Among other considerations, our tests determine if the touchscreen avoid under- or overshoots when zooming, and if it scrolls quickly and smoothly — in other words, the DXOMARK protocol evaluates a display's touch accuracy and smoothness."
While they could be a little more specific, it's clear it's not only about response times.
DxOMark recently tested the display of the most expensive smartphone in the Samsung Galaxy S24 series, the S24 Ultra. It currently stands at the top position of the ranking. The team has now published the results of the cheapest phone in the lineup and ranked it better than the much more expensive iPhone 15 Pro Max.
