Strange how those who purport to love the free market when it impoverishes people get really upset when their favourite billionaire loses a car deal due to *checks notes* someone buying from the competition! It's almost as if they use words and phrases they don't understand!

None of the "issues" with Tesla cars bothered them just one year ago, even though they were obviously aware of costs etc. I knew this would happen the moment Elon got involved in politics and called out the usual suspects. This is all part of payback by the small hats.

Large car rental agencies such as Sixt and Hertz are planning to rid themselves of EVs from Tesla. There are several reasons for this: low residual value and demand, as well as high repair costs than comparable combustion cars. Sixt has therefore announced a mega deal with Stellantis, which will see Sixt purchase up to 250,000 cars from Stellantis by 2026.
