Drei Lüfter sind zu begrüßen, aber die zwei Hauptlüfter sind ziemlich klein und flach. Mit einer besseren Platzausnutzung könnte man bestimmt die Lüfter ein wenig größer machen. Eine Vapor Chamber fehlt auch. Razer kombiniert 3 Lüfter mit einer Vapor Chamber (baut leider nur zu dünn).

Schade auch, dass Asus in 2 Kategorien denkt: Gamer bekommen das hässliche ROG Plastik design, Zephyruskäufer müssen sich mit extrem dünnen Gehäusen und schlechter Kühlung abfinden. Ein dickeres Zephyrus (16 und 18 Zoll) mit guter Kühlung wäre mein Favorit.

MiniLED is a useless crutch, because...with 1 (one) luminous subpixel in the zone, the backlight immediately turns on and the contrast of the zone drops by 15 times. And at the boundaries of zones with light objects, artifacts are observed.

We don't need miniLED, we need microLED with high-frequency PWM (2kHz+) and subpixel burnout resource (and color stability) of at least 15k hours, and preferably 30k hours.

Better IPS with multi-row conventional backlighting and native contrast of 1800:1+ and an A-TW polarizer to eliminate Glow defects at an angle than miniLED.

Insgesamt zu Teuer für das Gebotene da muss man auf eine Aktion warten oder das 4080 Modell nehmen. Was mir aber gefällt das Asus nun allen Scar Modellen Mini LED spendiert. Mir sind immer noch viel zu viele Highend Notebooks am Markt mit den 0815 IPS Panel die mit einer 4090 ähnlich viel Kosten. Ausnahme das HP Omen 17 das es momentan relativ Preiswert gibt.

It is. And it's the same with all of these PC companies. They do not care.

Not caring is the only explanation there is. Because they can't be so stupid in reality. This shitshow has been going on for decades, and nothing has changed. They could create notebooks in a very reasonable way, but they choose not to. It must be their deliberate choice to mess things up. It can't be explained in any other way.

It's very sad to see a year later that Asus management has learned nothing from my comments (and confirmed by the owners of these series):
1. Again, the stupid screen is 2.5k, not 4k@144Hz, which automatically excludes a clear 4k/fhd picture in movies/videos and in games in fhd and 4k. In passing, I note that the author of the review did not check the real native contrast of the panel with single-zone backlighting.
2. Idiotically damaged keyboard - damaged numpad, compared to the 17.3" series on AMD (compare for yourself). Moreover, F1..F12 are not backlit, as in the old 2023 series.
3. Idiot port layout. Especially the power socket, which, as in the 2023 model, covers the exhaust on the left with a power cord. Why isn't the power in the back, Asus?
4. Again, the temperature of the keyboard is increased, which can, if the screen cover is closed, lead to the failure of the screen panel under load when playing on an external monitor.

The processor is monstrously weak for such a price - why not the 7945HX, which is much faster and also consumes significantly less?

Again, noise even under office load and increased consumption at rest.

The author himself wrote about other obvious epic failures - like a shameful antique camera from the early 2000s and this for a price of $5000!!! Look next to the HP Pavilion review - there is a 5MP camera! It costs 4 times cheaper! This is a shame for the Asus development department.

Plastic case for $5000 - are you serious????!!! There should be a molded case with thermal pads for the SSD case. RAID0/1 is useless. Although gamers do not require reliability.

Who will buy it? Question of the day and year...

Der Test liest sich sehr brauchbar,  aber das Teil ist mindestens 500 € zu teuer. Für soviel Geld,  wenn es nicht dringend ein Gamer sein müsste, wäre immer ein MacBook Pro meine erste Wahl.  Als Gamer gibt es günstigere Alternativen.  Aber nichtsdestotrotz vielen Dank für diesen ausdrucksstarken Test,  well done.
