No. 9%+ in five states, as minimum.

If you want to save your own eyesight (and a healthy nervous system) and are going to sit at such a laptop for many hours, I strongly advise against purchasing models with AMOLED.

NBC is also read by non-US readers. In particular, most NBC articles are translated to German for German-speaking readers, also because NBC is Austria-based. In all those translations, the USD prices without VAT are stated. NBC always leaves it to the readers and their capability to convert currencies and add VATs. From the POV of us German-speaking readers, this is nasty. NBC could also write expected endconsumer prices in Germany, Austria or Switzerland. Instead, NBC often adds garbage information about affiliate links to (un)related products and their prices. Instead of garbage, we want to be informed. Do not defend NBC's missing information about expected endconsumer prices in EUR but inform us better!

Quote from: Ferit Tuzer on January 15, 2024, 16:29:23All of these prices are misleading as there is a whopping amount of sales tax you need to pay in most locations. You can include prices with tax to correct this misleading pricing behavior in the US. Restaurants are worse of course, there the hidden price is more than 20%.

Funny. Sales tax in the US ranges from 0% to around 7%. Using a random sales tax rate in these articles would be more misleading than mentioning the usual pre-tax price, which is exactly what US readers are accustomed to.
Also, tipping in restaurants does not have anything to do with taxes.

The 2023 Legion Slim 5 is also powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS. Thanks to two stackable coupon codes, the OLED-equipped version of Lenovo's 14-inch gaming laptop is currently on sale for its lowest price yet.
