Correction on the article, "Cath" is not an original character, she's Kath Toom from the StarCraft series, who is an established character.

The title is misleading speaking of a comeback for HOTS.. I was hoping to read something about the developers making an announcement.. what you're writing about is a side project of passion, not a comeback.

Although it's awesome they are doing this and you're reporting on it, the article is off base, because HOTS is still very much alive and what these modders have done isn't a comeback.  You talk about it as if it's dead, but despite there being no further active development,  it's far from dead with an active community and player base.

After Activision-Blizzard discontinued the active development of MOBAS Heroes of the Storm in 2022, modders have brought the game back to life. "Resurgence of the Storm" was programmed into the Starcraft 2 engine and is not only visually appealing, but also features balance adjustments, reworks and even new heroes.
