Well.. it's US$3500, doesn't support any mainstream AR/VR game or platform, seems to be mainly for sitting around the living room in poses only fashion models take, watching movies all by yourself unless your family is insanely wealthy enough to afford more than one (when most can't even afford one). And you'll need some accessories like an iPhone or Mac, conveniently (and exclusively) made by the same company.

So sure. Why not?

Oh, did you hear? Microsoft, who made a AR/VR headset ten years ago, the second version of which also costs US$3500, is abandoning the market and tearing all support out of Windows for Windows Mixed Reality. Googlke gave up on it a few years ago as well.

Now, pardon me while I go put on my Quest 3, which only cost US$500, is here now, works with SteamVR and cripes, even has Microsoft Office, and can do pretty much everything the Vision Pro can at a price normal people can afford.

This "headwear iPad Pro" is a promising enthusiast gadget but idk if it'll be popular enough to pull its weight.

According to some reports, Apple has sped up the production of the Vision Pro in China. If the manufacturing keeps up the pace and doesn't run into production issues, the mixed reality headset will likely be launched in February 2024.
