Dear Dell,

How about allowing users to purchase new motherboards that fit into their existing Latitude laptops since the chassis on business laptops only change every 4-5 years? Yes. That would make you like Framework but I have a Latitude 7480 with a great keyboard (1.5-1.8 mm key travel), screen, battery, great ports (USB3, USB-C, HDMI, Ethernet), and the chassis is still fine. All it needs is a new MB w/CPU.

Upcoming Dell laptops in 2024 are likely to feature serviceable displays as part of Dell's Concept Luna sustainability initiative. This year, Dell is augmenting Concept Luna with an emphasis on "circular design" that includes modularity, reduced emissions, telemetry, and easy recycling.
