My research last month, I read the s89c has a screen samsung purchased from LG, and s90c uses the samsung screen. The samsung screen (on the s90c) is supposedly better. IDK if it is $500 better

I got one to test if go into service menu it says it's an s90c. It has all same specs and futures of s90c model just best buy exclusive model that's why is called s89c. If you search samsung u.s. website s89c specs are on their n compare to s90c specs listed for both are the same. I've tested it to verify it does everything the s90c does, all samsung features. Filmaker mode etc all there. It gets super bright. Way brighter then my 77c9 n 77c1. Macro photos show its qdoled not woled panel.
