Here is more direct evidence that Google has long turned into an Evil Corporation and is deliberately making changes leading to totalitarian practices:

www.eff.org/deeplinks/2021/12/chrome-users-beware-manifest-v3-deceitful-and-threatening

This is the kind of news that needs to be published about Google and repeated regularly by the editors. And not nonsense about ridiculous fines, especially from the authorities of a totalitarian country, simply trying to gain complete control over everything, entering into competition with other planetary villains.

Not the whole world is without conscience or principles, or are you, too? ;)

The worst thing in all this is that the two-faced authorities of the USA and Europe, the West as a whole, systematically recognized, over and over again, the increasingly false "elections" in Russia and the legitimacy of the "authorities", their false judicial system (in which no one elects judges - they are appointed by the same government!, but the West duplicitously did not impose any sanctions against more than 40000 judges in Russia, although it was they who legitimized this totalitarian regime and provided it with cover for 25 years), thereby bringing the situation to the current one in 25 years. So who contributed to the germination of evil and its prosperity, no matter how greedy and two-faced politicians of the West all these decades? Who is responsible for the fact that civil society in Russia was destroyed by the special services and their descendants, who were so popular with the grassroots redneck crowd (demanding a new "iron hand"), if not the authorities of Western countries? When the situation could still be corrected and reversed, they all made money in Russia, they and business.

Now reap the benefits. Those fruits that you yourself have grown. What goes around comes around.

One tank, which is burned by Ukrainians in a minute (and in Ukraine, several thousand of them were burned), costs almost 2 million dollars, which is enough to pay a team of doctors at some regional Russian hospital for a year, and their insane government reduces medical and social costs projects, saving on literally everything for the sake of supplies for the war, except those that are beneficial to them before the pseudo-elections. Now it has almost reached the point of banning abortions, because... The authorities urgently need as much cannon fodder as possible.

-----
So, a fine of $150000 to Google from the Russian authorities, against the backdrop of all this madness, only causes homeric laughter among reasonable people and at the same time complete bewilderment - why the editors of this site publish such ridiculous news from Russia. For what purpose? What will this news give to readers in Europe and the USA?

The Central Bank of Russia does not hide the fact that the money supply (M2) is swelling at a monstrous pace and its female boss is already openly saying that if the authorities (on which she no longer has any influence) do not stop the madness of printing money with tens of trillions of rubles (and they printed for about 1 year and 2 months by the beginning of 2023 more than the entire money supply (M2) of Russia was before the 2008 crisis!), then soon there will be nothing to buy with these rubles within Russia, as in the Weimar Republic or in Zimbabwe, and people will have to (figuratively) cart their paychecks very quickly to the stores, otherwise their purchasing power will burn up along the way.

Prices in the Russian Federation, even despite the season before the circus with the "elections" in March and despite the official increase in the ruble exchange rate (the same thing happened in the USSR), are growing at a frantic pace, indicating that the real ruble to dollar exchange rate is significantly higher than 100 rubles per dollar (despite the fact that The dollar itself is flying into the abyss like a jack). And their central bank can raise the rate to 17-18% before the New Year. But this is completely useless. Because the Russian government, like a mad horse that has taken the bit between its teeth, is carrying society into the abyss, where it will end up, and this abyss will be much more terrible than the horror that was in the 90s, after the collapse of the USSR, because factories and specialists still remained then, and now they have nothing. The communal infrastructure is worn out, even according to official reports from government institutions, by more than 70%. And recently the authorities admitted that the road situation is rapidly deteriorating. There are no specialists (the shortage of personnel is recognized by the entire business), everyone is running who can. But money, strength and resources are being buried in the soil of Ukraine. The USSR suffered about the same thing in Afghanistan. The Afghans defeated 3 empires - England, the USSR and the USA. Although each time this victory was Pyrrhic.

The younger generations of Russians (as well as Europeans and Americans) are extremely stupid and naive, but the old generations, like mine, remember everything, we went through this.

Google is slowly leaving Russia. He disabled all caching servers that he had previously installed on almost all Russian providers. And the same YouTube, thanks to the degradation of infrastructure and the actions of their Roskomnazor, which forcibly installs DPI equipment for all providers, is already working every now and then, according to many reports from people from all regions. They don't care about any fines, because... Their representative office in Russia is closed and is in the process of bankruptcy.

Moreover, human rights activists have already proven more than once (and there are articles about this in the Russian-language and English-language press) that the Evil Google corporation, in order to maintain influence, does not remove or reduce the priority of deliberately false propaganda Russian channels on YouTube. And the US administration pretends that no regime of sanctions and restrictions has been violated. The whole world has turned into a two-faced, dirty cesspool with no conscience or principles left.

Quote from: NikoB on November 15, 2023, 22:51:20Oh no, it's still $150,000, well, for now, until the ruble has depreciated another 10 times, which is what it's heading towards after the "pseudo-elections" in March.

In 1992, the ruble depreciated almost 100 times in a year. I think the Russian authorities are close to repeating 1992. And in total, since the end of the USSR in 1991, taking into account the denomination by 1000 times in 1998, the ruble by this time had already depreciated by more than 150,000 times in relation to the dollar, which itself is depreciating more and more quickly.

Do you think the dollar will be able to depreciate 1000 times before 2030?

When the ruble was falling during the sanctions, Russia decoupled the Ruble from the global economy. Try going anywhere in Russia to exchange even 2X the market rate of rubles for USD or Euros, they won't sell cause it isn't worth the rate

Why do I publish such nonsense on European sites? 15 million rubles = $15,000 I think that the owners of Google spend more on lunch.

But the real vile deeds of Google, the Evil Corporation, are practically not indicated here in the news or in reviews.

Even after leaving Russia, tech companies like Google, Wikipedia and Apple are still facing fines from the courts. They are charged with disseminating misleading information or disregarding data localization regulations.
