They should have pushed to release the 2400 on 3nm. That would have give them an edge.
When they release their first 3nm chip, Apple will be already on their second-generation 3nm; and potentially TSMC would have joint to the party as well.
Samsung LSI is still catching up with TSMC, and even with the GAA, I don't expect them to get any better the 3nm TSCM.
