Qualcomm has now introduced the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, a chipset that will power many flagships released from this autumn onwards, like the Samsung Galaxy S24 series, the Xiaomi 14 series and the OnePlus 12. Not only has Qualcomm brought performance and efficiency improvements relative to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, but it also plans to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 to take on the AI smarts of the Tensor G3 powering the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.
