Thanks heffeque. My surface pro 9 was stolen so I'm looking for a less expensive, higher performing alternative. Went the mini-pc route but it's too inconvenient to replace my surface.
I'd rather have a computer that has similar dimensions but without the monitor so that I can attach it to the back of the portable monitor of my choosing. A mini pc is too bulky for this. I also want to have a laptop like hinge so I can attach my portable monitor to my Bluetooth keyboard. This way I can upgrade my computer (makeshift laptop) without paying for a new monitor and I can use my favorite monitor and favorite keyboard.
I really want to see this product since it is the only 2-in-1 alternative on the market that is cornered by the Surface Pro 9 MONOPOLY, which has left no options with AMD ZEN 4 7040 Phoenix processors. Let's not forget that AMD Graphics with RDNA 3 is four times more powerful than Intel IRIS graphics. Let's not forget that AMD Zen 4 is built at 4nm compared to Intel at 10nm++++ which produces high temperatures and energy consumption. I look forward to seeing this alternative and that Notebookchek can make a real comparison between both products. I find this product very interesting for many people, including me who is looking for an ultrabook, but if I get a 2 in 1 like the Surface but with AMD Phoenix, much better.
MINISFORUM has teased more details about its first 2-in-1. Showcased last month with AMD Ryzen 7040U APUs, MINISFORUM has confirmed that the unnamed device will have a 165 Hz display and perhaps even a DisplayPort input for using it as an external monitor, among other features.
