Great... guess there isn't much point in waiting anymore and I'll just get another mirrorless camera. They could have at least bumped up the 1080 FPS but alas it doesn't sound like it's going to be. I suppose if you don't have one you might as well get the newest one but if you already have a 10 or 11 GoPro I'm not reading any reason to upgrade. I feel like GoPro sales are going to tank this time around. Terrible idea in my opinion just to release a new camera, just because.

A reliable leaker has revealed details numerous details about the Hero 12 Black, GoPro's next action camera. Reportedly, GoPro plans to offer only minor changes from last year's model, with the rumoured new 1-inch camera sensor, 4K/240 FPS video mode and improved rear display nowhere to be seen.
