I use a retro style Fuji X series body and would than welcome a Nikon retro style camera as it would likely improve upon the Fujifilm's shortcomings - low light IQ and AF.
Fuji have the prime lenses with aperture rings that pretty much compliment their cameras perfectly. I doubt Nikon will release lenses with aperture rings and the Z lenses won't really pair up well with a retro style body, which is the only real negative.
As a Z7II owner a full frame retro styled camera with dials and essentially an upgraded Z7II would be awesome, the issue is Nikon doesn't really have lenses with aperture rings no?
Recent Nikon certification documentation indicates that the Japanese camera maker plans to release one more camera before the end of 2023. This time, it appears to be a retro-styled full-frame mirrorless body or an update to its popular Z6 II. Although specifications are as yet unknown, the rumoured price of between US$2,000 and US$2,500 is tantalising.
