Yes. always as TB3/4. But not clear for support 2xDP1.4b as TB4...

I will do, my apology 🙏

Quote from: Bogdan Solca on July 02, 2023, 12:53:03I was writing about a smooth 1080p gaming experience, which, without FSR is indeed not achievable on the Radeon 780M. But if the game supports FSR, why not use it?
Exactly, that's correct. And it also looks very good on smaller screens, especially under 16" (and this one is far smaller than even 16).

Guys, please keep it civil in the comments. I am removing all the comments containing insults. Yes, I have slightly modified the text based on what NikoB pointed out initially. However, he seems to forget that AMD can boost the FPS via FSR, just like Nvidia with DLSS. I was writing about a smooth 1080p gaming experience, which, without FSR is indeed not achievable on the Radeon 780M. But if the game supports FSR, why not use it?

Whoever "NikoB" is he always posts on AMD-based devices and tries to downplay them using some random weird metric, often cheering for Apple or ARM.

Quote from: julia_top on June 30, 2023, 10:52:4990% of users are not gamers

1.85 BILLION of PC gamers worldwide: statista.com/statistics/420621/number-of-pc-gamers/

Out of 8 billion people on our planet.

Also just on Steam alone there is more than 1 billion of registered accounts.

90% of users are not gamers so if this ultrabook keeps the price around €1,000 it will be a sales success.
With a 13gen and the iGPU Xe from intel it is impossible to play AAA games but with Zen 4 Phoenix with RDNA 3 + FSR yes without problems NOBODY denies this because it has been proven.
Now those who are not a gamer and need mobility and be able to render 3D, CAD, CAM will be a great success ZEN 4 Phoenix and RDNA + Artificial intelligence, something that currently 13Gen from Intel cannot compete with.

Quote from: NikoB on June 29, 2023, 16:26:14Another false statement.
What is a false statement? From the article:

QuoteWith the introduction of AMD's powerful Ryzen 7040 Phoenix processor featuring RDNA 3 iGPUs, laptops do not require a dedicated GPU for a decent 1080p gaming experience anymore.

...

Budget gamers are hoping to see US$700-800 laptops with a decent IPS screen and no dGPU.

So what is false there?

Quote from: NikoB on June 29, 2023, 16:26:14The 7940HS, even with the top-end lpddr5 7500, is not able to provide smooth 60fps even in "High" quality, not to mention "Ultra" (which is actually the quality level as intended in the studio, i.e. the only correct one) in 1080p mode.
No one is stopping game studios to optimize their games and not to release a mess like Cyberpunk. If a game studio is running Threadripper 5995wx + 4x RTX 4090 that doesn't mean that specific config was intented for the final product.

Quote from: NikoB on June 29, 2023, 16:26:14The performance of the 7940HS is at best in the region of the long obsolete GTX1650 and a priori cannot provide quality in 2022-2023 games even in High quality at a minimum of 60fps.
Correct and that was known for a long time because this is an iGPU. Is there anyone else (but you) who's expecting to run 1080p 60fps+ high or ultra in 2023 AAA titles with an iGPU, all for less than 1000€? Rhetorical question.

Didn't noticed any mentions of ultra/high settings. On the other hand 680M/780M based handhelds and other ultralight devices are available and they can play games. Cyberpunk 2077 is on low but it still works.

Even the GTX4050 in most cases is not capable of rendering 60fps / High + in 1080p in terms of releases 2022 and even more so 2023.

Thus, the integrated 7940HS video card is suitable for comfortable playing only games 6-10 years old, nothing more, and requires at least a GTX4060/AMD 7600S in the kit.

The ROG Flow X13 model in question is not yet in stock, but if it starts selling at the listed price and Best Buy adds some discounts, it could become an attractive budget gaming option that benefits from a glossy touchscreen, increased versatility with the 360-degree hinge. fast LPDDR5-6400 RAM and a port selection with USB4 and the XG mobile interface.
