I have the Luba 3K and hate it. I have a small lawn and this machine gives me nothing but trouble. It gets stuck on the easiest transitions. (Concrete to grass). Ideally this machine is for wide open lawns with NO transition points. I'm sending it back asap as I've heard of a newer tech LiDAR slam system from another company. The wire is ok I guess but I have multiple zones that need mowing. I guess I will just wait it out and do it myself. I mean with the current mower (luba3k) it takes all day to watch it mow, always getting stuck or losing satellite signals or going out side the boundary and getting stuck.
If I ever need another robotic mower I might consider this one but, so far, my Husqvarna robotic Automower has worked perfectly for four seasons rain or shine. The one I have now costs only $699. Having a perimeter wire is no big deal for me and random mowing leaves my lawn looking like a lush carpet without all the mowing lines. The Mammotion seems pretty cool though &, like I said, if I ever need another robotic mower I'll definitely check this one out but the price would have to come down to a more competitive level.
The Mammotion LUBA AWD robotic lawn mower is now available from the company's online store and Amazon storefront. Three models are available, covering lawn sizes from 1,000 m² (0.25 acres) to 5,000 m² (~1.25 acres). The gadget uses an RTK-GNSS system rather than a boundary wire to navigate your garden, and you can control the device via an app.
