This is where Android tablets have a huge problem.
The lowest entry level iPad ($299 on sale) is equipped with the equivalent of the highest end android processor - geekbench 1,500+ and it only goes up dramatically from there (M1, M2 territory). That's it. You are guaranteed to get high end performance.
The are NO poor performing processors in the entire Apple eco system.
Android manufacturers are pumping out hundreds of these enemic tablets. There is no quality control or minimum standard. To get the equivalent of an entry level iPad you need to spend a significant amount.
Xiaomi is closing on replacing the Redmi Pad with a second-generation model. Geekbench listings have confirmed a surprising chipset choice though, which would see the Redmi Pad 2 perform anywhere between 25% and 42% worse than its predecessor.
