Just, as previously rumored, Tesla's Gigafactory in Mexico may start production of its cheapest Model 2 in July or August of 2024. That's the timeframe Tesla is pushing its Chinese component suppliers for while they expand to Mexico, in order to qualify the EVs made there for federal subsidies.
