the measured 3.8s (~3.5s w rollout) before weight reduction AT 30% SoC, which was slower than measured by journalists (3.4s/3.1s w rollout) then they did 2.8s(2.5s) with weight reduction and a charged (~80%) battery
so likely more like a 0.5s / 15% improvement, which is still huge, most likely due to a just as huge ~15% weight reduction (600lbs!)
the most interesting is going to be the next step what they are doing with this skateboard chassis that is probably severely lacking rigidity

The ingenious tinkerers from the US have dismantled the majority of the Tesla Model 3 Performance's body, which resulted in a much lighter electric vehicle whose acceleration from 0 to 60 mph is quite a bit closer to the way more expensive and lightning-quick Tesla Model S Plaid.
