Praktisch alle modernen Prozessoren basieren auf Silizium-Transistoren. Forschern der Linköping University ist es nun gelungen, einen funktionsfähigen Transistor aus Holz zu konstruieren, der den Grundstein für die weitere Entwicklung von Holz-basierter Technologie legen soll.
