Eve Distribution Ltd / Dough are a scam company, been waiting around 4 months now for a refund of a so called returnable deposit. They've taken thousands in early backer deposits and won't repay them when people cancel their orders or won't supply the devices even though people have fully paid. Meanwhile their happy to sell devices when they have stock to new purchasers, effectively reselling already sold stock, via Amazon or their own website.
Company is a scam. They will not respond to any communications regarding my monitor that has a lovely red line running though it. 6 weeks of emails and forum posts which have been removed. Monitor is now out of the warranty. Just chalked it up to a $900 mistake.
It's a shame that technology companies, like notebookcheck.net fall for this scam, and provide free advertising for the scammers. This product *does not exist* - there isn't even the most basic of prototype available. And if history is anything to go by, anyone who orders this will neither receive the monitor nor a refund. Dough just take your money and give you nothing in return except a bunch of lies. If you want to give away your money, give it to charity, not to these crooks!
Just search for "Dough.Tech" in trustpilot, and you'll see many victims of the Dough Spectrum scam confirming this.
Dough asserts that the latest version of its Spectrum monitor delivers "unbeatable gaming performance" thanks to its OLED panel. The 27-inch display also has an advanced refresh rate and dual HDMI 2.1a ports. It has now been released with a special pre-order offer of US$350 off its "global retail" price, albeit for a markedly limited time.
