None of the LED lamps I bought from different companies, including Philips, has served the declared resource in hours even close. It's all a money scam. A light bulb that actually costs $3 sells for $9.
Almost all lamps have a CRI less than 85 and almost all have no red spectrum in the glow. Plug in a normal incandescent bulb and you'll be shocked by its thick red light (which you didn't notice before).
LED lamps tend to flicker imperceptibly and kill vision, especially for those who work simultaneously with monitor and laptop screens. It is especially harmful with AMOLED screens, where low-frequency PWM is superimposed on spontaneous, random flicker when the LED driver (and part of the LEDs) goes beyond the tolerances of the circuit.
This is imperceptible in the bathroom and toilet, partly in the kitchens, but in the living room - this leads to disorders of the nervous system.
Those who invented and made mass LEDs in the form that most of them are sold are sadists and villains.
These are probably similar (or same) as bulbs that Philips has been selling for a few years already in Saudi Arabia. Basically- LEDs that are pushed much less, which allows them to last much longer, as well as work more efficiently.
New Philips Ultra Efficient LED bulbs have been launched in the US, exclusively available at Walmart. A range of formats is on offer, including 60W A19 and 100W A21, with soft white or daylight options. Signify claims that the bulbs last over three times longer than traditional bulbs, consuming 40% less energy.
